Student Rail Card

Travelling by train can be expensive in the UK, so using a young persons (16-25) railcard when buying train tickets is a great way to save on the price if you are in full time education. Your young persons railcard gives you the chance to save 1/3 on the cost of off peak rail fares. You can also use it to make great savings on things like days out, 241 restaurant deals and discounted hotels.
Getting hold of a railcard is easy, simply go to a manned train station or buy one online for the current price of £30. If you are over 16 and under 26 in full time education, all you need is proof of your date of birth (passport) and a passport photo.
If you are in full time education and over the age of 25 you can still qualify for a student railcard, you will just need to have your form and photo stamped at the CSA Office, Cranfield campus or at Academic Services, Shrivenham campus to start making great savings.
This card will NOT entitle you to discount on the London Underground.
