Autonomous Vehicles Society

We are proud to present the Autonomous Vehicle Society at Cranfield University. We are a student-led society in Cranfield Student Association. The Society is born with the idea of organising events, webinars with the industry, simulations and tutorials on autonomous vehicles and automation-related mechatronics. Autonomy is a beautiful concept, spanning several areas and levels of automation, from the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to partial and complete automation in driving.

The first goal of the Society is to bring added value with debates and seminars on state-of-the-art autonomy-related topics, and the creation of a further contact point between students, the University and the industry, all facilitated by the communication and exchange of opinions and advice with our academic staff.

The second goal is the formation of a community with common interest, and to bring as many non-CAVE (MSc Connected and Autonomous Vehicle Engineering) students as possible close to the world of autonomous driving.
